Backdrop Rental

A backdrop is the one rental that appears in every photograph taken at your event. It is also the item most often got wrong — usually by being too small for the room, or by being hung badly.

Ours are all freestanding, which means they work in masjids, municipal halls, condo party rooms and heritage properties where nothing may be fixed to a wall.

What we have

Sizing it to the room

This is where most backdrop bookings go wrong. A backdrop that looks generous in a photo of someone else's event can look lost in a room with a 23-foot ceiling, and oversized in a living room with eight-foot ceilings.

We need two numbers before quoting: the ceiling height and the width of the wall you want it against. In high rooms we build vertically with drape and suspended work; in domestic rooms we build wide and low. Send a photo of the space and we will tell you what actually fits.

Installed, not dropped off

Every backdrop goes out installed by us. Drape is pressed and hung rather than clipped, garlands are fixed rather than draped over, and the frame is weighted and levelled.

The difference between a hung backdrop and a properly built one is entirely visible in photographs, which is the only reason the item exists.
